CryptoWorld News reports that, according to Benzinga, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has partnered with Google to launch a new AI privacy blockchain called Midnight. He said the collaboration meets UK regulatory requirements, enabling compliance officers to write scripts defining how assets interact with other chains. Hoskinson also praised the contributions of Fahmy Syed, noting that during his nine months at the Midnight Foundation he formed more than 100 partnerships. The collaboration paves the way for building similar transactions with financial institutions in the United States and Europe, as well as the Bank of England.

Midnight is a programmable privacy system designed for AI agents. In the next five to ten years, users will no longer manually browse websites, but instead delegate tasks to agents that process encrypted transactions. The platform combines privacy, chain abstraction, and smart compliance, using proofs to verify agents’ actions. Midnight uses zero-knowledge proofs, allowing users to prove facts without revealing underlying data. The platform uses two tokens: Knight and Dust. Knight is public, tradable, and controls governance, while Dust is private, non-transferable, and not listed on exchanges.
