I'm really fed up with this round of attention economy. Every time a hot topic changes, people follow along. In the end, it's not about losing money but losing time. The airdrop season is even more obvious; task platforms shout anti-witch-hunting while implementing point systems. The grifters work as hard as they’re at a job, filling out a bunch of forms and pretending to be "real users," basically you're just helping others hit their KPIs.

Now I look at projects with two main focuses: where the money is being spent and whether the proposal has achievable milestones; the budget looks like... or like... anyway, it doesn’t seem like they’re planning to do real work, so I just call them out in the comments. Don’t mistake “hype” for a moat; hype is just a smoke screen. Protecting your own time is much more reliable than chasing the next narrative wave.
