These days I’ve come across a bunch of social mining and fan token projects again, with slogans like "Attention is mining"… Basically, they want you to exchange your time for points and badges. I used to be pretty into it too, checking in daily, reposting, boosting interactions, until eventually I felt like I was being led by tasks, and I didn’t even have time to do on-chain interactions.

Recently I’ve scaled back my goals: only keep 2-3 projects that I genuinely want to use long-term, and for others, if I see "post 10 more messages to unlock identity," I just skip it. Anyway, even if the badges shine brighter, it’s not worth me exhausting an entire day. Do what’s easy to do, and if I can’t, I just pretend I didn’t see it… As a result, I can stick to it more consistently, and my gains are more stable. Still that saying, time is the principal, don’t let points lead you around by the nose.
