In March, PrismaX published an article titled "The Service Layer Era," officially announcing that the project has entered the Service Layer Era.

Imagine a future where robots can do housework and tasks as flexibly as humans. The key is not the hardware, but the massive amount of real-world experience.
PrismaX is helping robots "go to college" in a unique way, broken down into three clear stages.
Stage 1: Foundation and Learning Period (Humans Teach Step by Step)
Robots lack common sense. They don’t know how fragile an egg is or how to prevent spilling a cup. PrismaX allows regular people to remotely control real robots through computers (teleoperation).
You can sit at home and "possess" a robotic arm to grab things or stack blocks. Every action you take is automatically recorded as video, movement, and force feedback data, becoming the AI's "textbook."
The core loop is: Robot does the task → generates data → gets a little smarter.
Many people are already participating on the platform, earning points while helping robots accumulate experience, just like teaching a child how to do homework.
Stage 2: The Service Layer Era (Building a Standardized "Good School")
In March 2026, PrismaX released "The Service Layer Era" article, announcing the start of a new phase. They are no longer just collecting data but have become the service layer for Physical AI (Embodied Intelligence).
PrismaX has set a series of standards: How should robots be configured? How should tasks be designed? Where should cameras be placed? When should humans assist?
These rules are like a school curriculum, ensuring higher data quality and faster AI progress.
In March, they joined the Nvidia Inception program, and in April, they upgraded their platform (optimizing queues and adding training arms), making the "school" more efficient.
Stage 3: Owner-Operator Model (Everyone Becomes the Principal)
In the future, ordinary people or businesses can register their own robots to run in homes or factories. While working, these robots will generate new data, and the AI will continuously upgrade and push improvements to all robots. The data comes from diverse, real-world environments, and the intelligence grows like a snowball, eventually allowing robots to enter thousands of households.
Why is the Service Layer Era Important?
Hardware has become very powerful, but "intelligence" has been the bottleneck. @PrismaXai has built a complete ecosystem for robot learning using humans, real data, and service layer standards. Right now, you can go to their website, try teleoperating, and "teach" a robot how to work.
The Physical AI Era has begun. PrismaX is letting everyone participate, turning science fiction into reality.
Are you ready to help teach robots "go to college"?
