🔥U.S. stocks open higher with the three major indices rising; Intel surges 25% to a record high


On April 24, U.S. stocks opened higher: the Dow Jones rose 0.1%, the S&P 500 Index rose 0.38%, and the Nasdaq rose more than 0.6%. Intel (INTC) surged 25%, with its share price reaching a record high of $85. Its market capitalization reached $422.6 billion, and the U.S. semiconductor sector moved higher in tandem. Intel disclosed its first-quarter results for fiscal year 2026 at its close yesterday. Revenue was $13.6 billion, up 7% year-over-year, and 11% higher than Wall Street consensus. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $0.29, far exceeding analysts’ expectations of $0.01—29 times the forecast.
