Two departments: Focus on accelerating standard development in tourism services, inbound consumption, and other fields

The Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the “Service Trade Standardization Work Action Plan (2026–2030).” It mentions that the focus is on accelerating the development of standards in fields such as tourism services and inbound consumption, improving service norms, promoting the alignment of service standards with international advanced standards, strengthening the implementation and promotion of standards, and pushing for the establishment of a comprehensive standardization system covering travel service quality, safety, scenarios and applications, security, and supervision.
