Just found out that Foundation, a fairly well-known NFT marketplace, is going to shut down completely. Its founder Kayvon Tehranian just announced on X that the deal to sell the platform to BlackDove failed. He said they tried to find a buyer to continue operations, but it's no longer possible. The infrastructure has been shut down, so it can't be revived. It's sad, but it seems to be a trend for NFT marketplaces that are starting to slow down, with many shutting down or pivoting.
