Japanese and South Korean Stock Markets Rise to Historic Highs

On April 22, the Nikkei 225 index closed up 236.69 points, a gain of 0.40%, reaching 59,585.86 points, marking a historic high. The South Korean KOSPI index closed up 29.43 points, a gain of 0.46%, reaching 6,417.9 points, also a historic high. (Jin Shi)
