🔥Trump Announces US Navy Will Block the Strait of Hormuz
On April 12, Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. Navy will begin blocking all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz in response to Iran's obstructions. Trump stated that Iran is extorting under the pretext of mines, and the U.S. will not yield. He has instructed the Navy to intercept ships paying tolls to Iran and to destroy Iranian-laid mines. Trump emphasized that any Iranians firing upon the U.S. or peaceful ships will be met with retaliation, and claimed Iran's nuclear ambitions have led to damage to its military strength. The blockade is about to begin, and other countries may also participate. Trump also said the U.S. is prepared to destroy everything remaining in Iran at the appropriate time.
