The 50th Chairmen’s Meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Beijing on the 24th. Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC, presided over the meeting and delivered remarks. The meeting deliberated and adopted the agenda (draft) and agenda items for the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, and decided to hold the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th CPPCC in Beijing in late June.
