Iran's Vice President says they will retaliate severely against attacks on Iran's energy facilities
Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to information from Iranian authorities on the 24th, Iranian Vice President Ismael Saggab Isfahani stated that Iran will respond forcefully to any attacks on Iran’s energy facilities. Speaking at a rally in Eslamshahr, Iran, Isfahani said that if the enemy misjudges the situation again, Iran’s strategy will be upgraded. Iran’s response to any potential attack will never be limited to “an eye for an eye”—this is only the first step in its response. “If any Iranian oil well is attacked, we will make the oil fields of the country that launches attacks from its territory our target,” Isfahani said. Isfahani added that Iran is fully prepared to ensure the continuous supply of energy; arrangements in the energy and power sectors are in place, and the public has no need to worry. (CCTV News)
