Iran's Vice President says they will respond strongly to attacks on Iran's energy facilities
Iran’s vice president, Ismail Saghab Isfahani, said that Iran will respond forcefully to any attacks on Iran’s energy facilities. Isfahani made the remarks during a rally in Eslamshahr, Iran, saying that if the enemy misjudges the situation again, Iran’s strategy will be upgraded. Iran’s response to any potential attack will never stop at “an eye for an eye”—this is only the first step in its response measures. “If any one of Iran’s oil wells is attacked, we will target the oil fields of the country that launches attacks from its territory,” Isfahani said. Isfahani added that Iran is fully prepared to maintain a continuous energy supply; arrangements in the energy and power sectors have been put in place, and the public has no need to worry. (CCTV News)
