Today it’s raining, and the traffic is so bad I’m starting to doubt my life. The coffee sitting on the table is almost cold… I went ahead and casually scrolled through the on-chain “labels/clusters/smart money”; basically, it’s like slapping sticky notes on strangers. This one looks like a whale, that one looks like a market maker, but if you really believe enough to copy the homework, I get a little nervous. Address profiling can at most help you narrow down the range—it’s not an ID card. One person can have ten accounts, one account can be linked to multiple teams, and even a flow wallet that’s created just to perform for you—no matter how pretty the clustering looks, it might still just be a storyline.

Recently, the whole “attention is mining” setup—social mining and fan tokens—also feels pretty similar. The data looks lively, but attention is more like traffic on the road: it can tell you where there’s congestion, but it doesn’t mean you should follow whichever car you’re imagining. Anyway, right now I care more about the “continuity” and “motivation” of the capital flows than just what the labels say—first see why it’s moving in this way.
