Italy's Eni raises share buyback to 2.8 billion euros

Italian energy group Eni has significantly increased its share buyback program to 2.8 billion euros, a nearly 90% rise, while also improving its 2026 cash flow guidance. This announcement comes after the company reported a slight decrease in first-quarter adjusted net profit, which was 1.3 billion euros, falling short of analyst expectations.
