US media: Trump's repeated emphasis on "no rush" may just be hiding inner pressure

Abstract generation in progress

Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to CNN, Trump is desperately trying to signal two key groups—Iranian leaders and the American public—that he is the decision-maker in this war. The problem is that neither side may be listening carefully to what he is saying. The key to winning this confrontation depends on which side has enough political resolve to defeat the other. Trump’s situation is quite difficult because he has been repeatedly presenting different views on his strategy for weeks, and these views often conflict with the actual situation. Additionally, he insists that he is not concerned about the timeline of the Iran war, possibly trying to hide the increasing pressure brought by the ongoing conflict. More and more evidence suggests that Iran not only firmly believes it has the advantage in this war (where Iran leverages geographic advantages to exert asymmetric pressure on the U.S.), but is also willing to pay any price to achieve victory.
