Poland Jobless Rate Steady at 6.1%
The registered unemployment rate in Poland was unchanged at 6.1% in March 2026, remaining at its highest level since September 2021. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 5.1 thousand from the previous month to 949.8 thousand. Women constituted 49.1% of the registered unemployed persons. The majority of unemployed individuals were still not entitled to unemployment benefits, representing 86.8% of the total. In March 2025, the jobless rate was 0.7 percentage points lower at 5.4%.
