Something interesting is happening with Solana as the price wobbles. Solana ETFs have raised around $1.5 billion since arriving in the United States, and the strange thing is that money keeps flowing in even when SOL has fallen significantly. Eric Balchunas from Bloomberg described it as "defying physics," and it makes sense: normally, when an asset drops so sharply, new investors flee. But here, the opposite is happening.
What catches attention is that about half of that demand comes from institutional investors. This suggests that big players are buying on weakness, which generally indicates they see long-term potential rather than short-term speculation. When institutions move like this, attentive traders usually take notice.
In the chart, Solana is within an upward channel that started after February. The price has formed higher lows at the bottom, but resistance in the $92-$95 range remains a tough ceiling to break. If it manages to surpass that zone, the next targets would be near $106 and then $120. But if it falls below the support at $80, things could get more tense, with $75 and $70 as critical levels to watch.
Meanwhile, on the meme side, Maxi Doge is gaining traction in its presale, raising nearly $4.6 million. Without complicated technical pretensions, it goes straight to what moves this market: community, narrative, and momentum. If this cycle continues to reward attention over technical perfection, projects like this could be well positioned. Interesting to see how institutional demand in Solana contrasts with speculation in emerging memes.
