Just saw a bunch of people discussing a "new opportunity" involving re-staking and shared security, and it made my hands a little itchy, almost wanting to push my position higher. I paused and asked myself: Do I really understand the information, or am I just being stimulated by the words "compound returns"? Honestly, the more these things that people criticize as being like nested dolls, the easier it is for emotions to smooth out the perception of risk. Anyway, my current approach is to not add to my position for now, stick to my planned dollar-cost averaging and rebalancing, and wait until my mind cools down before reassessing. If I miss out, so be it.
