Kuwait oil refinery attacked and set on fire by a drone

According to a report from the Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said that the country’s Ahmadi Port refinery was attacked by a drone early that morning, causing some facilities to catch fire, with no reports of casualties. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said that emergency and firefighting departments have activated emergency plans and are working to control the fire. Reports indicate that Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is coordinating with environmental authorities to monitor air quality around the refinery. The company stated that, so far, the attack has not had a negative impact on the environment. (Xinhua News Agency)
