On April 22, Kirstine Kundby-Nielsen and Jens Peter Sorensen from Danske Bank stated in a report that the market may be underestimating the prospects for rate cuts by the Federal Reserve this year. The analysts noted, ‘We expect an additional 0.25 percentage point cut in September and December, which is more than the market currently anticipates.’ According to data from the London Stock Exchange Group, the monetary market currently reflects a rate cut of only 9 basis points by 2026.
