SoftBank plans to convert factories into data centers for battery production

Golden Finance reports that on April 24th, according to market sources, SoftBank Group’s mobile communications division plans to convert part of its factory in Osaka into one of Japan’s largest large-scale battery production lines to try to supply power to its AI data centers. Insiders revealed that SoftBank’s goal is to put the production line into operation within the next five years. (Dongxin News)
