Abstract generation in progress

IGO quarterly financial report shows that from January to March 2026, the Greenbushes spodumene mine produced 351k tons, roughly the same as the previous quarter; sales were 349k tons, higher than the 328k tons in the previous quarter, with one batch delayed to April due to port congestion. The average selling price of spodumene concentrate for the quarter was $1,668 per ton.
Meanwhile, IGO has lowered its full-year spodumene concentrate production guidance for fiscal year 2026, from the originally expected 1.50–1.60 million tons to 1.375–351k tons.
Due to the decrease in production leading to increased fixed cost allocation, the unit cash cost is expected to rise by approximately 20%. (SMM)
