So Neel Somani, founder of Eclipse, resigned from his CEO position a few months ago. The reason is interesting; he wants to focus on machine learning and academic research, not managing the company anymore. I heard he transitioned his role to Sydney Huang as the new CEO. It's quite dramatic because the timing coincides with major changes in their product strategy. Now Eclipse is said to focus on building their flagship application on their Layer 2. Sydney Huang also promised to reveal the new application next month. An interesting move, a founder stepping back to pursue passion in research. What do you think, is this a good move or not for Eclipse?
