Lido Proposes Up to 2,500 stETH Investment for Aave Rescue: Joint Effort to Contain rsETH Risk Spillover
On April 24, Lido Finance proposed a plan in the governance forum to provide a one-time investment of up to 2,500 stETH to Aave’s rsETH rescue program, aimed at covering collateral gaps and reducing risk spillover into the DeFi ecosystem. This proposal is being advanced in conjunction with the ‘DeFi United’ joint initiative, contingent upon the overall rescue plan achieving full funding coverage, with the goal of stabilizing the market and facilitating orderly resolution for affected users.
