Golden Finance reports that on April 24, U.S. President Trump said on Thursday that he expects Putin will not attend the G20 meeting to be held at a resort in Doral, Florida this December, but he said that Putin’s participation could be useful. Earlier on Thursday, The Washington Post reported that Russia would be invited to the ministerial meeting and the leaders’ summit. However, Trump said he was not aware of those plans, and he expressed doubt about whether Putin would actually attend. Trump said, “I don’t know about the invitation, but if he’s invited, my view is that he should talk with everyone.” He added, “If he comes, it could be very helpful.”
