Golden Finance reports that on April 24th, according to CCTV, on the 23rd local time, as the confrontation between the U.S. and Iran in the Strait of Hormuz escalated, the U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier “Bush” is heading towards the Middle East. Currently, although the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is maintained, it remains unclear when a new round of negotiations will begin. A Pakistani diplomat stated that the U.S.-Iran negotiations have “fallen into a deadlock,” while U.S. President Trump said “Iran has no more time,” and ordered the U.S. military to sink any ships laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. The Minister of Defense said that they are ready to restart hostilities and are waiting for the U.S. side to “give the green light.” Meanwhile, due to lost trust in the U.S. side’s sincerity in negotiations, Iran has developed targeted countermeasures against “possible” military actions by the U.S. and its allies.
