Recently, I’ve become increasingly aware of a problem: security truly is the foundation for whether the cryptocurrency market can develop long term. With vulnerabilities and attack incidents rising one after another, some projects are actually starting to take this matter seriously. For example, the Dusk Foundation is working on some interesting things. They’re not merely responding to security issues passively; instead, they actively strengthen the entire technical architecture and anticipate potential threats in advance.
In the cryptocurrency space, threats have always been evolving, and attack methods have been upgrading as well. But I’ve noticed that projects that truly build their systems with security as the top priority tend to last longer. Dusk’s approach is exactly like that—they weave resilience design into the entire development process, rather than fixing things after the fact.
This makes me think of a trend: in the future, the cryptocurrency market may place increasing value on a project’s security gene. The projects that prioritize security today will be the ones that can truly become objects of market trust tomorrow. Many people may still be focusing on returns or hype hotspots, but I believe it’s the projects that can stick with this direction that are truly worth paying attention to.
