CoinWorld News reports, according to Iran's Fars News Agency, that in response to the appearance of small drones in multiple regions across the country, Iran activated its air defense system on the evening of the 23rd. The report states that the sound of air defense system activation was heard in Tehran and other cities, as small drones were detected, including Israel's "Orbiter" reconnaissance drone. Earlier that evening, an explosion was heard over Tehran, and the air defense system opened fire on "hostile targets." Several Israeli media outlets later cited sources saying that Israel did not carry out an airstrike against Iran.
