U.S. Sanctions Kok An Over Cambodian Crypto Scam Network
OFAC sanctioned Cambodian Senator Kok An and 28 related individuals and entities over a network accused of crypto investment scams. U.S. regulators also seized more than 500 fake website domains tied to the schemes. OFAC said the operations targeted U.S. victims and that some people inside the fraud compounds were trafficking victims forced to commit illegal acts.
