Trump Announces Three-Week Extension of Ceasefire Between Israel and Lebanon
On April 24, U.S. President Trump stated on social media that the U.S. held a successful meeting today at the White House with senior representatives from Israel and Lebanon. The U.S. will work with Lebanon to help it protect itself from threats posed by Hezbollah. The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended for three weeks. I look forward to hosting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Lebanese President Aoun soon.
