These past two days, the airdrop season has started to get competitive again. Task platforms’ anti-scam protections have everyone feeling like they’re clocking in at work to scan points… While I watch, I’m sweating in my palms: the more urgently you try to “grab” it, the easier it is to trip over the red line of security.

As for mnemonic phrases—plainly put, they’re your “lifeline.” Don’t screenshot them, don’t store them in cloud drives, and don’t send them to any “customer service.” Also, regarding signature authorization: many phishing sites don’t directly steal your coins—they get you to sign something you don’t understand, and then your wallet is like handing over the door-key. Right now, I basically follow this: don’t click on unfamiliar links. If authorization can be revoked, revoke it. And the moment I see “unlimited quota” in a pop-up, I close it first and wait a bit.

I don’t need to be understood, either. In any case, I’d rather miss out on a few points than wake up in the middle of the night to find my wallet empty and still be thinking, “What exactly did I sign back then?”… That’s it for now.
