Just now, I was staring at the on-chain data for a long time and found that some of the "latest transactions" are actually several blocks behind... To put it simply, what you see on the chain isn't necessarily the chain itself, but the node/RPC you're connected to, and how the indexer outputs data afterward. Switch to a different RPC, and the timeline immediately seems smoothed out; if the indexer isn't keeping up, you'll think the funds haven't moved, but in reality, they've already left.
The kind of economic collapse points in blockchain games are quite similar: the data looks fine, but inflation and the studio have already twisted the coin prices into a spiral in the background, while you're still refreshing the front end thinking it's stable. I just turned off a "free public RPC" and switched back to a paid one, feeling more at ease... Anyway, I tend to get tempted by high APYs, but I'm more afraid of being the last to know the truth.
