I find that I can sleep peacefully even if I have a little floating loss, and even a loss of just a few dollars feels like a warning alarm going off in my head. The more I think about it, the more I feel dissatisfied: I haven't even sold, so why does it feel like I've already lost... Basically, it's loss aversion—the pain of losing feels more real. The funniest part is that I even get up in the middle of the night to check the candlestick chart, wait 30 seconds to confirm "it's still there," and then continue to deceive myself. Recently, those new L1/L2s are offering incentives to attract TVL, and old users are complaining about mining, selling, and withdrawing. I understand: if you don't sell, you're afraid of going to zero; if you sell, you're afraid of missing out. Anyway, I've now set a rule for myself: don't overreact to floating losses, just close the app first, and deal with it tomorrow.
