Crypto Groups Urge Senate to Advance CLARITY Act in 120-Entity Letter

More than 120 crypto industry entities urged the US Senate Banking Committee to move the CLARITY Act toward a markup in a Thursday letter. The House passed the bill in July 2025, but Senate consideration has been delayed by government shutdowns and debate over stablecoin yield. The committee has not announced a new markup date, and Senator Thom Tillis said leaders should consider waiting until May to allow more compromise talks.
