Lido stated that they have submitted a proposal to the Research Forum, aiming to participate in the rsETH collaborative rescue plan led by Aave. The plan originates from this week's Kelp rsETH LayerZero cross-chain bridge attack incident; the proposal intends to authorize a one-time fund transfer of up to 2,500 stETH tokens, to be injected into a specially established rescue mechanism, and to be executed only as part of an overall recovery plan that can fully fill the rsETH gap, in order to reduce spillover effects on the DeFi ecosystem and promote the orderly handling of affected users.
