The Central Bank of Iran confirms that the first toll fee for the Strait of Hormuz has been credited in the form of "cash foreign exchange."

BlockBeats News, April 24 — The Central Bank of Iran confirmed that the first toll collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz has been credited in the form of “cash foreign exchange.” Previously, there were reports that Iran was collecting tolls for the Strait of Hormuz in the form of “cryptocurrency.” Earlier that day, Haji Babaei, the Vice Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Parliament, stated that Iran has received the first toll for passing through the Strait of Hormuz and it has been deposited into the central bank account.
