2025/2026 Harvest Season Production Starts on October 30, 2025, with Yingmao Mengpeng Sugar Factory taking the lead in crushing, which is 1 day later than the previous harvest season. As of March 31, 2026, there is 1 sugar mill in operation in the province (compared to 9 mills in the same period last year). As of March 31, 2026, a total of 16.6118 million tons of sugarcane were processed (compared to 15.3589 million tons in the same period last season), producing 2.1344 million tons of sugar (compared to 2.0088 million tons last season), with a sugar yield of 12.85% (compared to 13.08% last season). Alcohol production reached 27.7k tons (compared to 23k tons in the same period last season). In March, the monthly sugar production was 641k tons, an increase of 32.5k tons year-on-year; sugar sales were 348.6k tons (compared to 313.9k tons in the same month last year), an increase of 34.7k tons; industrial stockpiles stood at 1.0882 million tons (compared to 972.3k tons last year), an increase of 115.9k tons.
