Mainstream Chinese pulp port sample inventory levels increased by 3.8% month-on-month

As of April 23, 2026, the inventory level of mainstream Chinese pulp ports’ sample stocks is 2.36M tons, an increase of 86k tons from the previous period, up 3.8% month-on-month. During this cycle, the pulp main port inventory shows a trend of accumulation. After three consecutive weeks of destocking at the port, this cycle has shifted to a trend of accumulation. During this cycle, Qingdao Port’s inventory at the domestic mainstream ports continues to show a destocking trend, with the daily shipment speed inside the port remaining relatively unchanged from the previous cycle. During this cycle, Changshu Port’s inventory also shows a trend of accumulation, with port shipments decreasing by more than 80k tons compared to the previous cycle. The remaining ports’ inventory levels during this cycle show varying degrees of accumulation and destocking trends, maintaining normal inventory range adjustments.
