These past couple of days, I've been led around by macro factors again... When interest rates tilt hawkish, risk appetite feels like someone turned down the volume on it, the market didn't move much but my mood started to shake. To put it plainly, the most annoying thing about perpetuals isn't the direction, but the fact that you know you should reduce your position but still get itchy to add more, when funding rates are skewed and many people are crowding into the same side, I start imagining "I'm the one who will be liquidated." What's even funnier is, seeing large on-chain transfers, exchanges moving hot and cold wallets around, and the comment section calling it smart money, I almost believed it... Then I think about the last time I followed such "signals," and in the end, the smart ones were others, I only contributed to the fees. For now, I’ll take it easy; surviving is more important than betting right.
