Sam Bankman-Fried Withdraws New Trial Motion in FTX Case

Sam Bankman-Fried withdrew the Rule 33 motion he filed in February seeking a new trial after his 2023 FTX fraud conviction. In a letter received Tuesday by Judge Lewis Kaplan, Bankman-Fried said he was withdrawing the pro se motion because he does not expect a fair hearing.
