Meteo France Files Police Complaint After $35K in Polymarket Weather Bet Payouts
Meteo France filed a police complaint after Polymarket traders collected more than $35,000 from Paris weather bets tied to brief sensor spikes. BFMTV reported that readings near Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport jumped by more than three degrees Celsius on April 6 and April 15 before returning to normal within minutes. Bubblemaps said one April 15 trade spent about $120 at under 1% odds and exited with about $21,000 within 30 minutes.
