I almost accidentally copied the mainnet address into the L2 withdrawal box due to a slip of the hand. The moment I clicked, my heartbeat spiked to the max... Luckily, I took a last look at the chain name, or else I would have paid another "tuition fee." To put it simply, ordinary people have only two compromises: for small, frequent transactions, just stay on L2, save on gas and avoid hassle; for long-term storage or operations related to security (large transfers, permission changes, cold wallet consolidations), I still prefer the mainnet. It's more expensive, but I feel more at ease. Recently, everyone has been talking about expectations of interest rate cuts, the dollar index, and risk assets rising and falling together. I feel that the more these times, the easier it is to make mistakes quickly... Anyway, now I pause for two seconds before signing each time, first checking the network, then the address's last digits—slowing down is okay.
