Lido Pauses EarnETH After Kelp rsETH Hack, Activates $3M First-Loss Protection
Lido paused the EarnETH vault after the Kelp incident and said a $3 million first-loss protection mechanism would apply if a loss occurs. Lido said EarnETH is the only Lido Earn vault with rsETH exposure, at about 9% of its TVL, while the Lido staking protocol, stETH, and wstETH remain unaffected.
