Iran protests the United States' use of the territories and airspace of five Middle Eastern countries.

According to a report by the Islamic Republic News Agency on the 23rd, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Iravani, wrote to UN Secretary-General Guterres and the Security Council, strongly protesting the United States’ use of the airspace over Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Iravani stated that Iran firmly demands that the aforementioned countries adhere to the principle of good neighborliness and prevent their territories and airspace from being used for actions against Iran.
