Mars Finance News: On April 23, Univity, a satellite internet startup funded by the French government, announced the completion of a Series A round totaling 27 million euros. It will advance its plan to launch thousands of satellites and become the largest satellite operator in Europe, helping Europe reduce its reliance on U.S. satellite internet services. Univity plans to deploy up to 3,400 satellites into very low Earth orbit; once achieved, it will become Europe’s largest satellite operator. At present, the “Starlink” project has about 10,000 satellites in orbit, while Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite plan is preparing to launch approximately 7,000 satellites. (Xinhua News Agency)
