Abstract generation in progress

Today, the overall average corn price nationwide is showing a slightly weak trend. In some local areas, price fluctuations continue; however, the number of fluctuating regions is declining overall, and there are more days with gains than with declines. Auction expectations for aged domestic rice in China are heating up, increasing traders’ willingness to ship, and the substitution effect of wheat and imported grains is becoming evident. Grain-consuming enterprises are relatively cautious about purchasing high-priced corn, and the market’s wait-and-see sentiment is growing stronger, with spot prices running weakly. It is more likely that during most of the early-to-mid period of April, spot transaction prices for corn in producing areas will generally follow a pattern of staying stable with a slight tendency to weaken; the downward trend in the second half of the month is expected to slow, and the chance of stabilizing and rebounding gradually improving is set to rise due to the gradually reduced volume of wheat released. As a result, the probability that the April monthly average corn price in producing areas turns from month-on-month gains to month-on-month declines is relatively high.
