Crypto World News reports, according to Nikkei News, that Pakistani officials blame the stalemate in peace talks on the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports. An official stated that Iran believes if they participate in the proposed talks without the U.S. lifting the maritime blockade, Iran will be at a disadvantage during the negotiations. That is why Tehran has not made concessions and has refused to go to Islamabad. A regional diplomat in Islamabad also shared the same view, saying that if Trump had lifted the maritime blockade after Iran reopened the Strait of Hormuz last week, the two delegations should have started negotiations in Islamabad on Tuesday. But Trump's actions left Iran in a very passive position because Iran does not want to make concessions early in the negotiations and would not come to Islamabad without the U.S. lifting the blockade.
