The price is holding above $1.345, which is quite good for a short-term outlook, but right now it’s fluctuating around $1.42. There was an earlier attempt to break $1.61, but it didn't succeed, so a correction is happening now. Speaking of XRP news and its technical state, everything depends on whether a new bullish impulse appears. If so, there could be another attempt at resistance.
