DeFi platform Flying Tulip launches withdrawal circuit breaker to respond to abnormal fund outflows

Odaily Planet Daily News reports that Andre Cronje (AC)-founded DeFi platform Flying Tulip has officially rolled out a withdrawal circuit breaker mechanism. When abnormal funds are flowing out, it can delay, queue, or revert withdrawals, giving the team time to investigate and limit potential losses. The mechanism is executed by product: Perpetual PUT may be directly reverted and requires a retry, while ftUSD enters a queue for delayed processing. The platform uses a fault-open design, so transactions can still be executed normally even if security mechanisms fail. (Cointelegraph)
