U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Runs Bitcoin Node for National Security
U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is running a Bitcoin node for national security, according to Commander Samuel Paparo. Paparo said the node is not used for mining and instead helps monitor network activity and test security with the Bitcoin protocol. Paparo also said the effort supports U.S. military influence relative to China.
